Pet ID

Pet ID - The Unique Registration System

I am licensed to implant microchips in Dogs, Cats and Horses. If you want to have your pet done, let me know and we can arrange a time and place. I can do whole litters when they are 6 weeks old.

More about Pet ID:

Like other companies Pet ID use The Petlog database for all our registrations, but unlike others our registration system does not stop there.

When we receive your client's forms we enter their details onto our own database, which can be accessed all year round.

We then allocate each client a collar tag with its own unique number, which we send to them along with a welcoming letter and a personalised certificate.

This unique collar tag allows the owners of stray animals to be traced even if there is no microchip scanner immediately available.

As an added bonus when your clients have their pets chipped with Pet ID we automatically give them 6 weeks veterinary health cover totally free. (The six weeks fee insurance period starts on the day the Policy is issued not the date of chipping.) The Pet ID Veterinary Health cover Super Cover Plus insures pets throughout Europe. Owners taking advantage of the Pet Travel Scheme, can do so with the peace of mind that £5,000 of veterinary health insurance cover provides.

Apart from our backup database we also run a Back Track System This system offers total traceability of the microchip from manufacture to implant.

Every chip we supply is allocated to a batch and every batch is allocated to a customer using the customer/PetLog pin number.

This means that if a microchipped animal was to stray before it has been registered on The Petlog we can still trace the chip to whoever implanted it The implanter can then check their copy of the registration form to see whose pet they implanted it in. We find this an absolutely vital backup as animals have been known to stray within hours of being implanted and this is the only way they can be traced to their owners prior to the data entry.
